                              MAXJET AIRWAYS INC.
                          ("MAXjet" or the "Company")
           US GOVERNMENT APPROVAL RECEIVED FOR OPEN SKIES OPERATIONS
          NEW APPLICATION FOR US-CHINA NONSTOP SERVICE COMMENCING 2009

MAXjet today announces that it has received approval from the United States
Department of Transportation to operate nonstop services from the United States
to all Open Skies points. This includes new Open Skies partners in the European
Union starting 30 March 2008, the date the new bilateral agreement between the
US and EU takes effect.

Specifically for MAXjet's operation at London Stansted, this approval includes:

  * the right to operate from any point in the United States to London
    Stansted, and;

  * effective 30 March 2008 the right to continue flights originating in the
    United States via London Stansted to other Open Skies points beyond, to the
    extent that the applicable aviation agreement grants such rights.

Major Open Skies partners of the United States beyond London Stansted include
India, Kuwait, Maldives, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand,
and United Arab Emirates.

In addition MAXjet announces that it has applied for service between the United
States and China effective in 2009. MAXjet has applied for a daily service
between Shanghai, China and Seattle, Washington, with continuing same-plane
service to Los Angeles, California. MAXjet anticipates that the service will
commence on 25 March 2009.

Introducing MAXjet service to China in 2009 will:

  * bring needed low fare competition into the capacity-constrained US-China
    market;

  * significantly increase business class capacity between the US and China,
    addressing the shortage of product appropriate for transpacific corporate
    travel;

  * introduce the first nonstop link between the US Pacific Northwest and
    China;

  * allow customers to connect from MAXjet onto other domestic low-fare
    airlines to points across the United States

  * underlines the potential of the all-business class model to routes outside
    of the traditional transatlantic services

"As our route network develops, we are making plans for growth in 2008 and
beyond," said Bill Stockbridge, CEO. "We have received the Open Skies authority
needed to develop our Stansted service. We are now applying for our first
transpacific route, bringing our award-winning low-fare all-business class
service to China in 2009."

Notes to Editors

MAXjet Airways introduced the affordable all-business class segment, starting
service between London Stansted and New York (JFK) in November 2005. Since
launching the low-fare all-business class segment MAXjet has carried over 93,000
passengers and introduced new services from London to Washington, Las Vegas and
Los Angeles starting 30 August 2007.

MAXjet offers the amenities of Business Class, including fast check-in security
clearance, departure lounges, padded leather seats with 170 degrees of recline
and 60" seat pitch, gourmet meals and an arrivals facility at Stansted, at fares
comparable to flexible Economy Class.

MAXjet offers convenient flight schedules with evening departures from cities
across the United States and return flights from Stansted that appeal to both
business and leisure passengers.

Readers of Travel & Leisure magazine rated MAXjet the second-best international
airline in the magazine's influential 2007 survey. MAXjet ranked ahead of
service leaders Emirates, Cathay Pacific, and Virgin Atlantic, and second only
to perennial winner Singapore Airlines. Travel & Leisure tabulated subscriber
votes in the first quarter of 2007, with voters ranking airlines on cabin
comfort, food, in-flight service, customer service and value.

MAXjet has attracted a customer base of small business, large business and
affluent leisure consumers with significant repeat business and high customer
satisfaction.
