M&G Income Investment Company Limited

The results for the quarter ended 31 July 2008.

In compliance with Listing Rule 15.5.1, the following is confirmed:

  * The Company announced details of the net asset value of the Shares on 19
    August 2008;
   
  * The directors do not foresee, having made reasonable enquiries, that there
    will be any material difference between the information published on 19
    August 2008, and that to be included in the forthcoming results
    announcement for the quarter ended 31 July 2008, subject only to movements
    in the price of the Shares which result from movements in the share price
    of those investments which comprise the Company's underlying portfolio.
   
  * There is no other unpublished information which constitutes price sensitive
    information in respect of the Company's Shares.
   
  * The Company's portfolio does not contain any unquoted investments.
   
In addition, it is confirmed that the Company calculates (and duly notifies
such calculations) on a daily basis the net asset value of the Shares. These
calculations of the net asset value of the Shares are prepared in accordance
with the Statement of Recommended Practice for Financial Statements of
Investment Trusts issued by the Association of Investment Companies and
applicable accounting standards.
