                                Tucumcari Assets



In response to a shareholder query raised at the Extraordinary General Meeting
held on 11 April 2008 to the Board in relation to the technical due diligence
supporting the Tucumcari gas assets (the "Tucumcari Assets") acquired by
Tucumcari Exploration, LLC ("TUCX"), the Chairman stated that a report was
prepared by an independent geologist that estimates the gas-in-place on the
Randals and Walker leases of the Tucumcari Assets at 212 billion cubic feet ("
BCF").  This report was prepared in August 2003 for the previous owners of the
Tucumcari Assets and was summarised in March 2006 for Tucumcari Investments
Limited and TUCX.



The 212 BCF gas-in-place figure is a volume calculation based on well log and
sidewall core data that was collected from the eight existing wells on the
Randals and Walker leases during the drilling campaign and production testing by
the previous owners of the Tucumcari Assets.  The gas-in-place figure does not
include any new wells to be drilled or tested and does not represent the
quantity of gas that may be economically extracted from the reservoirs.



Further, Minmet confirms that a Competent Person's Report ("CPR") is being
prepared by Gaffney, Cline & Associates Inc, which will supercede the above
gas-in-place estimation.  The Company will announce the results of the updated
CPR in due course, which is expected to be finalised in early May 2008.
