On  25  January 2007 the Directors of Maypole announced, inter alia, details  of
the  Company's  significant shareholders following the allotment  of  12,500,000
ordinary 0.3p shares at 1p per share.  That announcement incorrectly stated that
each  of  David  Parlons and David Wilkinson were interested  in  4.99%  of  the
Company's issued share capital. It has since been confirmed to the Company  that
the   correct  position  is  as  follows.  Furthermore,  the  announcement  also
incorrectly  stated that Addworth Plc was interested in 5.99% of  the  Company's
issued share capital. Again, the correct details are set out below:

Following the allotment of the new shares on 25 January 2007, the following
persons (other than the directors) had and continue to have an interest in the
Company of over 3%:

*  The  Company understands that CNT Nominees Limited is a nominee for Edinburgh
Holdings which is a Cayman company which is ultimately controlled by Tom  Keller
and David Wilkinson.

Jonathan Faith no longer has a notifiable interest in the shares of the Company.
