Nationwide Accident Repair Services plc, the largest dedicated provider of
automotive crash repair services in the UK, announces that following Nationwide
ceasing to be an associated company of Guinness Peat Group plc, Mark Butcher is
to step down from the Board at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of
the Company to be held on 17 May 2007. Accordingly the Resolution to re-appoint
Mark as a Director will be withdrawn.

Mark has been a Director of NARS since May 2002 and was Chairman of the Company
from December 2004 to June 2006. The Board would like to thank Mark for his
significant contribution in the turnaround of the Company in that time and to
its successful flotation on AIM in July 2006.
