Renewal & Extension of Major Contract with RSA 
 
 
Following Nationwide's recent announcement that it has renewed its major 
contract with RSA Insurance Group plc ("RSA"), the Group is now pleased to 
provide further details on the contract renewal. 
 
 
The contract is for a four year term and covers the provision of crash repair 
services nationally, outside the M25 area. As part of the new contract, RSA will 
also consolidate its repair provision beyond the London area into much of 
Nationwide's network. Nationwide will be deploying its existing RSA dedicated 
repair capacity and this dedicated resource will increase from six centres to 
nine centres. 
 
 
The contract was awarded following RSA's rigorous review of its motor repair 
strategy and the solution now in place will ensure a consistent, compliant and 
streamlined repair supply chain for RSA. Nationwide has worked together with RSA 
for over 10 years and the contract renewal and extension demonstrates the 
Group's ability to offer the best balance of coverage, value, sustainability and 
service. 
 
 
The contract will help to underpin Nationwide's trading performance in the 
current financial year and beyond.
