                           Director/PDMR Shareholding


IBS OPENSystems plc (the "Company"), the software and services company focused
on providing solutions to Local Government and Social Housing, announces that on
28 February 2008 the Company awarded options to subscribe for 5p ordinary shares
in the Company to certain Directors under the IBS Enterprise Management
Incentive Scheme.

The options awarded were as follows:

Richard Smith, Chief Executive 250,000
Bill Loughrey, Managing Director 100,000
Karl Pott, Finance Director 50,000

The options will only be exercisable subject to certain performance criteria
being met. They have an exercise price of 110 pence and will be exercisable
after 28 February 2011 for a period of 7 years.
