                   APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR AND TRADING UPDATE

Premier Direct Group Plc ("PDG"), the national shopping-at-work provider, is
delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Southworth (age 61), as a
non-executive director.

Mr Southworth brings a wealth of direct sales experience to PDG's board. He held
a number of senior positions at Avon Cosmetics Ltd ("Avon") between 1971 and
1996, being appointed Managing Director UK in 1984 and subsequently President
and CEO UK and Vice President Europe in 1986. While he was CEO, Avon became one
of Avon Products Inc.'s top five operations. Mr Southworth served on Avon
Products Inc.'s global advisory council which was responsible for the
development of the company's global strategy. He was appointed Chairman and CEO
of Tamarind Holdings Ltd, a marketing and direct sales company in 1996, a
position he held until 2002. Since 2002 he has acted as a consultant in the
direct sales arena. He has served on the UK Direct Selling Association's Council
for twenty years and in 1996 was appointed an honorary life member of the
council.

PDG is also pleased to confirm that trading for the Christmas period was in line
with expectations.

Commenting on the appointment, Eric McClenaghan, chief executive of PDG
commented :

of direct selling experience and knowledge which will complement our existing
skill sets. In particular, as PDG moves to apply its core skills of distributor
recruitment and the management of direct sales networks to new product areas,

a strong contribution to our team and look forward to working with him as we
develop the PDG business further."
