  Compass Finance Group commences trading on the Alternative Investment Market


Compass Finance, the financial broker and packager of secured loans, unsecured
loans, mortgages and remortgages, announces that its Ordinary Shares have been
admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock
Exchange (AIM) with effect from today.

A total of 66,949,792 Ordinary Shares at 48p were admitted to trading, giving
Compass Finance a market capitalisation at the Placing Price of #32.1m.

For the year ended 30th September 2003, Compass Finance announced an increase in
operating profit to #1.8m (2002: #552,000) on turnover of #8.3m (2002: #3.4m).
