Possible merger between ProVen Health VCT plc and Longbow Growth and Income 
VCT plc

The boards of directors of ProVen Health VCT plc and Longbow Growth and Income 
VCT  plc ("Longbow VCT") announce that they have entered discussions regarding a 
possible merger of the two companies to be effected by means of a scheme of 
reconstruction and winding up of Longbow VCT. Any merger would be subject to 
satisfaction of a number of conditions including the approval by shareholders of 
both companies. 
At this stage, there is no certainty that the discussions will lead to a
