Promethean PLC ("Promethean" or the "Company")

AGM, intention to withdraw resolution

Following the announced postponement by the potential purchaser of TIS of its extraordinary general meeting, the chairman at the forthcoming Promethean Annual General Meeting to be held on 31 December 2012 will propose that the resolution to authorise the directors to delist the Company not be put to the meeting.

A further announcement will be made in due course once there is greater clarity as to the position.
