Withdrawal from North American Market

As a consequence of a review of the Group's strategy and prospects in North
America, the Board of Patientline has decided to withdraw from this market and
will now commence an orderly closure of its loss making North American
operations. Further information will be provided as part of the Group's interim
results announcement.

For the year ended 31 March 2006, the Group reported an operating loss of #1.5
million on revenue of #0.8 million in respect of its operations in North
America.
