Sale of Seismic Attribute Software License for $0.5 million

RSI (AIM:RSI), announced today that it has provided a non-exclusive license of its seismic attribute interpretation technology to a major North American software vendor for a fee of $0.5 million.

Richard Cooper, CEO of RSI stated: "This license will allow the benefits of RSI's technology to be accessed by a wide range of E&P companies. RSI's seismic attribute technology allows geophysical interpreters to reduce drilling risk by transforming 3D seismic data into a variety of geologically meaningful volumes. "
