The following amendment has been made to the Notifiable Interest announcement
released today at 11.38am, RNS number 1214H.

The number of ordinary shares held was incorrect. USS now has a holding of
15,920,478 Ordinary Shares of 10p ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company.  These
Ordinary Shares are registered in the name of Chase Nominees Ltd (USS).

                              Notifiable Interest

On 31 July 2006 the Company was informed that, following a purchase of 2,000,000
shares, the Universities Superannuation Scheme Limited now has an interest in
15,920,478 Ordinary Shares of 10p ("Ordinary Shares") representing 8.83% of the
issued share capital of the Company.  These Ordinary Shares are registered in
the name of Chase Nominees Ltd (USS).
