                             Director Shareholding



The Board of Tinopolis plc ("Tinopolis" or "the Company") announces that on 3
July 2006 the Company received notification that Jonathan Cray, the spouse of a
director of the company Angharad Mair, purchased 24,000 ordinary shares of 2p
each in the Company on 3 July 2006 at a price of 33.33p per share.



Angharad Mair has a beneficial interest in a total of 2,467,306 shares
representing 2.482 % of the issued share capital of the Company, and her spouse
Mr Cray now has a beneficial interest in a total of 81,444 shares, representing
0.082% of the issued share capital of the Company.
