             JOHN WILLIS JOINS TINOPOLIS AS GROUP CREATIVE DIRECTOR

                         AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF MENTORN


Tinopolis plc ("the Company") announces the appointment of John Willis as
Tinopolis Group Creative Director and Chief Executive of its production
subsidiary Mentorn.


John Willis is one of the best known figures in the television industry, having
been Director of Programmes at Channel 4, Managing Director of LWT and United
Productions, Vice President of National Programmes at WGBH and most recently the
BBC's Director of Factual and Learning.


John Willis says: "I'm delighted to be joining a blue chip independent with a
strong commitment to quality and with a willingness to expand, particularly in
the exciting area of new media."


Ron Jones, Executive Chairman of Tinopolis says: "John has an unrivalled track
record of identifying and overseeing talent, successful programmes and formats
across the factual, drama and entertainment genres and we're really pleased to
have him join us."

Mr Willis will take up his role from the 6th November.
