Further to the announcement on 22 December 2006 regarding the posting of the
Offer Document to all Teesland Shareholders, the SCAMP Directors confirm that,
in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Offer Document, the
Offer will initially remain open for acceptance until 1.00 p.m. on 12 January
2007 (being the first closing date of the Offer), or such later times and/or
dates as SCAMP may, subject to the rules of the City Code, decide.  Accordingly,
the sentence commencing paragraph 1(a) on page 25 of the Offer Document should
refer to the Offer initially remaining open for acceptance until 1.00 p.m. on 12
January 2007.



Capitalised terms used, but not defined in this announcement, have the same
meaning as given to them in the Offer Document.
