Resignation of Lead Fund Manager

The Board of the Company has been informed by the Company's investment manager,
Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Limited ("SWIP"), that the lead fund
manager of the Company's property portfolio, Michael Cunningham, has resigned.
Michael Cunningham's period of notice ends on 9 February 2007 and SWIP has
confirmed to the Company that he will continue managing the Company's property
portfolio until that date.

SWIP has proposed that Darryl Tidd will take on the role of lead fund manager of
the Company's property portfolio following Michael Cunningham's resignation.
The Board intends to discuss with SWIP the ongoing management arrangements
relating to the Company and expects to make a further announcement in the near
future.
