Trading Update


Victoria P.L.C. is pleased to report that since the interim statement made in
November 1999 for the six months ended 30 September 1999, trading in its
principal markets of the UK and Australia has exceeded expectations.

In the UK the Company's new products have all met with considerable success
which has resulted in a strong autumn selling season.  In Australia, the
buoyant economy and a growing market acceptance of the Company's products has
led to a continuation of its success.

As a result of this performance, the Group anticipates trading results for the
year ending 31 March 2000 to be in excess of current market forecasts and
materially ahead of last year's profit performance.

In addition, the Group expects to announce exceptional profits of around
#365,000 from the disposal of its Castle Works property and the settlement of
an insurance claim.
