                          Annual Report & Accounts 2005

WHAM Energy plc ("WHAM" or "the Company"), the North sea specialist oil and gas
explorer, announces that the Company's Annual Report and Accounts for 2005 have
been mailed to shareholders, along with a notice of meeting convening an Annual
General Meeting to be held at 12.00pm on 17 May 2006 at the offices of City
Profile, 7-9 Copthall Avenue, London EC2R 7NJ.

Tom Windle Chief Executive said,

" Over and above the usual financial reports, we have taken the opportunity to
include up to date descriptions of all of our exploration interests, which
highlight the progress we have made in developing our prospect portfolio since
our AIM admission in September 2005."
