RNS Reach release

29 March 2007

New offices and senior operational management provides platform for further
                                     growth

Worthington Nicholls Group plc, the UK's largest independent installer of air
conditioning, heating, ventilation and chilled water systems, is pleased to
announce a number of senior operational appointments and the opening of two
major new offices.

The Company has appointed Mark Wall, 50 as Regional Manager. One of Mark's main
responsibilities will be the successful integration of Project Air with the
existing AS Nicholls operation. Project Air, a specialist installer of air
conditioning systems to the retail sector, was acquired by Worthington Nicholls
in June 2006. Mark is a MRICS and previously held the position of Technical
Director at SGP Property Services.

The second new appointment is that of James Baird, 30, who joins the Company
from Daikin as a Technical Project Manager. Daikin is the UK's largest supplier
of air conditioning systems and a key supplier to Worthington Nicholls. James's
understanding and knowledge of the latest technology coupled with his
qualifications and corporate approach will play an important role in maintaining
the success of the business whilst enhancing a long-standing commercial
relationship between the two companies.

The Company is also pleased to announce that Adam Darlow, 28, has been promoted
to General Manager of the AS Nicholls division. Adam relocated from AS Nicholls
five years ago working at the Wilmslow office, and we are pleased that he is now
able to utilise his knowledge and drive in managing the growth of the South-East
office.

Worthington Nicholls will be opening a large new office in Bedford. The new
office, which replaces the existing AS Nicholls office in the town, will provide
the capacity to enable the Group to increase its presence in London and the M1
corridor.

In conjunction with the Bedford office, Worthington Nicholls has also signed a
lease on office space in Bluewater, Kent. The South-Eastern offices will be
operational from April and once fitted out will house the recently-acquired
specialist electrical contractor Lumenglow, as well as the Group's regional
management and sales personnel.

Mark Worthington, Chief Executive of Worthington Nicholls, said:

"We are delighted to be hiring some of the best people in our industry, and are
very pleased to welcome these members of staff to the team. We are also excited
to be increasing our presence in London and Southern England. We believe that
the Kent office is ideal for targeting more work in continental Europe.

"With this strengthened operational team and larger UK footprint, we are
confident we have the platform in place that will continue to deliver our growth
strategy in the UK and Europe."
