Director Shareholding

In accordance with s.324 to 328 of the Companies Act 1985, as amended, Mr Stuart
Lyons, Chairman of the Company, has notified the Company that he has today
purchased 100,000 shares representing 1.28 per cent. of the issued share capital
at a price of  70.5 pence per share.

Following this purchase, Mr Lyons has an interest in 150,000 shares representing
1.92 per cent. of the issued share capital.
