ROSELAND, N.J., June 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ADP®, a
leading provider of human resource outsourcing and, payroll
services, today announced that it has been positioned as a leader
in Gartner's first ever "Magic Quadrant for Payroll BPO
Services."[i]
The Gartner report evaluates the capabilities of 11 key vendors
of payroll business process outsourcing services around the
globe. Payroll business processing outsourcing (BPO) services
consist of administrative support provided by an external party of
some or all of the payroll processes historically administered
internally by an employer.
"ADP provides payroll outsourcing solutions to organizations of
all sizes, and in addition to strategically broadening and
enhancing our human capital management solutions portfolio, we have
continued to make the necessary investments to extend our
leadership position in payroll processing," said Regina
Lee, Division President, ADP. "Our positioning within the
'Leaders' quadrant for payroll BPO services is a clear indication
of our innovation in the areas of payroll processing innovation,
tax and legislative compliance, operational excellence and client
service."
According to Gartner, the payroll BPO service market grew 5.2
percent in 2011 and is forecast to grow 1.4% worldwide in 2012. It
is forecast to grow at a five-year compound annual growth rate of
3.3 percent through 2015.
According to the Magic Quadrant Study, more companies than ever
look at payroll outsourcing as way to reduce HR costs quickly and
enhance service levels to employees and managers. Gartner
also sees more large enterprises looking at payroll BPO, especially
for multi-country operations, as a way to place all global
operations on a common platform, have access to consistent data
analysis, and measure a provider (or providers) on a consistent
basis across countries.
