ROSELAND, N.J., March 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/
-- ADP®, a leading global provider of human capital
management (HCM) solutions, today announced that Diamond Parking
Service implemented its ADP Workforce Now platform to simplify
payroll and other HR processes for the company's nearly 1,000
employees.
Founded in 1922, Seattle-based
Diamond Parking Service sought to upgrade its 15-year-old
HR/payroll software to a more reliable, efficient system. The
company also wanted a modern system that offered self-service and
mobile functionality while supporting all core HR processes,
including recruiting, benefits administration and talent
management.
"With our former system, we couldn't guarantee the accuracy of
our payroll data. That uncertainty coupled with increasingly
complex compliance requirements drove our decision to upgrade to
ADP," said Tatiana Cass, payroll and
benefits manager, Diamond Parking Service. "What's great
about ADP is that all HR processes are built into one system.
That's enabled us to implement different modules in stages to make
the transition easier for our field managers."
With 1,700 locations across eight states, Diamond Parking
Service manages a complex business with HR and payroll sitting at
the center of its other core business systems. This made it
critical that Diamond Parking Service's new human capital
management system would help simplify processes and not add another
layer of complexity to its operations.
"We had an excellent team of professionals from ADP helping us
every step of the way during the implementation process.
Their deep understanding of complex HR/payroll processes, combined
with years of project management experience, allowed us to
implement unique and efficient solutions specifically suited for
our company," said Cass. "Because of this great partnership
with the ADP team, we were able complete implementation
successfully and go live without any issues. ADP allowed our
Payroll department to grow in efficiency rather than size."
Diamond Parking Service is already seeing a positive return on
its investment with more efficient payroll processing and new HCM
capabilities, including applicant tracking and talent
management. Today, the company's Payroll department fully
utilizes the ADP Reporting Module – enabling staff to analyze and
compare HR/payroll data rather than focusing on manually entering
and tracking that information.
"With increased globalization and evolving regulations, running
a successful midsized company requires sophisticated business
systems that optimize operational efficiency," said Regina Lee, President, Major Account Services
and ADP Canada. "Integrated human capital management
platforms like ADP Workforce Now help midsized companies more
efficiently manage their workforce so they can focus on taking
their business to the next level."
