TORONTO, Aug. 16, 2018 /CNW/ -- Employment in
Canada increased by 11,600 jobs
from June to July according to the July ADP®
Canada National Employment Report. Broadly distributed
to the public each month, free of charge, the ADP Canada
National Employment Report is produced by the ADP Research
Institute®. The report, which is derived from
actual ADP payroll data, measures the change in total nonfarm
payroll employment each month on a seasonally-adjusted basis.

"We saw moderate job growth for the month of July," said Ahu
Yildirmaz, vice president and co-head of the ADP Research
Institute. "The growth is due to an up-tick in hiring in
leisure and hospitality and solid improvements in healthcare and
professional and business services. However, the industries
closely tied to trade struggled with widespread losses."
The June total of jobs added was revised up from -10,500 to
22,000.
The August 2018 ADP Canada
