Mundus Group Inc. (PINKSHEETS: MNDP) announced yesterday that the Federal Aviation Administration has issued a Certificate of Authorization to Flint Hills Solutions FH 500 Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV). Mundus Groups wholly owned subsidiary AirStar International is the platform for the FH 500.

The FH 500 will be used in autonomous flight in National Air Space over Crisis City Kansas. Crisis City is a first of its kind multi-use Homeland Security training facility for law enforcement, search and rescue, medical response teams, public and private industry safety professionals and military operations in support of civil authorities.

The University of Sydney Department of Aeronautics market surveys predict a significant increase in UAV usage over the next five years. Strong growth in the military applications market would start to settle as the market for civilian UAV applications is predicted to grow significantly. AirStar International markets its UAVs to governments, commercial usage as well as retail consumers.
