LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Equity Media Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:EMDA) announced today that Jim MacDonald has been named General Manager of the company's Amarillo stations, KEYU (Amarillo's Univision affiliate) and KAMT (Amarillo's TeleFutura affiliate). Before joining Equity Media, Mr. MacDonald served as the CEO of La Guia and Caramba!, two Kansas City magazines that he founded. From 2004-2005, he was the General Manager of KCZZ, a Spanish radio station in Kansas City, where the station's gross revenues doubled under his direction. From 1988-1996, MacDonald served as General Manager of KSMO, an independent television station in Kansas City, where he increased gross revenues from $4 million to $18 million.
