GeoResources, Inc. to Present at IPAA’s 2009
Small Cap OGIS Conference

Houston, Texas, February 11, 2009 – GeoResources, Inc., (NASDAQ:GEOI), today announced that Frank A. Lodzinski, President and CEO, will present at the Independent Petroleum Association of America’s (IPAA) Annual Small Cap Oil and Gas Investment Symposium (OGIS) being held at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach Hotel in Manalapan, Florida on February 17 & 18, 2009.
 
Mr. Lodzinski is scheduled to present on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time.  He will also be attending and participating in meetings with members of the investment community.  Presentations will not be webcast, but the Company’s presentation materials will be available on the Company’s website at www.georesourcesinc.com .
