Knight Trading Group Expands International Sales Trading Team With Four Additions to London Office Knight Securities International Ltd. renamed Knight Equity Markets International Limited JERSEY CITY, N.J., June 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Knight Trading Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NITE) today announced that it has added four international sales traders to its London office. Managing Directors Hugh M. Bleahen, 28, and John M. Holl, 37, joined Knight from Credit Suisse First Boston and Citigroup Global Markets Ltd. in London, respectively. Directors W. Guy Gibson, 29, and Gary J. Sillence, 28, were previously at Citigroup Global Markets Ltd. in London. The four will manage Knight's institutional client offering in London, working closely with Knight's Jersey City-based professionals to provide sales trading coverage and trading in European ordinary shares and ADRs. Knight also announced that it has changed the name of its U.K.-registered broker-dealer subsidiary from Knight Securities International Ltd. to Knight Equity Markets International Limited, effective June 1, 2004. Biographies Hugh M. Bleahen Managing Director, Knight Equity Markets International Limited Hugh M. Bleahen, 28, joined Knight in May 2004 after nearly six years with Credit Suisse First Boston. He started at CSFB in the firm's graduate recruitment program in New York before becoming a Sales Trader in the London office serving hedge funds. As a Vice President and later Director, Hugh specialized in Pan-European Sales Trading. Hugh also gained experience working on several exchanges in both the U.S. and Europe. He worked for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson on London's Liffe exchange floor for a trading team on the FTSE future pit. He also worked in the Eurodollar pit of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for JJ Group, and on the Irish Stock Exchange for ABN AMRO. Hugh has a degree in Property Economics from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland and leaving certificate examinations from Garbally College in Ballinasloe, County Galway, Ireland. John M. From May 1999 until May 2003, he performed the same international sales trading duties for institutions as a Director for Credit Suisse First Boston in London. As a Director and Manager of the European Sales Desk for Schroders Securities & Co. Inc. in London from February 1997 to May 1999, John was a sales trader serving U.S. institutions in both developed and emerging European equity markets.
