RHI Entertainment Expands Hollywood Footprint

In a major strategic initiative that will strengthen its
presence within the Hollywood creative community and expand its
output of original television programming, RHI Entertainment
(NASDAQ: RHIE) has opened a Los Angeles based programming office
and named Tom Patricia, Executive Vice President, Movies and
Miniseries and Elizabeth Stephen, Executive Vice President, Series.
The announcement was made today by Robert Halmi Jr., President and
CEO, RHI Entertainment.
The new office will be responsible for production and
development as well as co-financing opportunities. Patricia and
Stephen will work closely with RHI�s New York creative team,
including company founder and head creative executive Robert Halmi,
Sr. and Senior Vice President, Development Lynn Holst.
�While RHI has always had a high profile in Hollywood, this new
programming arm will enable us to ramp up our West Coast
development and production efforts even further,� said Halmi, Jr.

Tom Patricia, an Emmy-nominated and Christopher Award-winning
producer, most recently has had an exclusive producing deal with
Lionsgate Television for TV series, movies, miniseries, and
non-fiction programs. Patricia�s production credits include the
award-winning film �Homeless to Harvard� for Lifetime Television,
starring Thora Birch and Kelly Lynch. The film premiered as
Lifetime�s highest rated original movie the year it was broadcast
and it ranks as one of the highest rated original cable films of
all time. Patricia�s recent credits also include the miniseries
�The Gathering,� a suspense-thriller for Lifetime starring Peter
Gallagher, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Peter Fonda; �Time Bomb� for CBS
starring Angela Bassett; �Dawn Anna� for Lifetime starring Debra
Winger; and two miniseries for Fox, �Intensity� and �Sole
Survivor,� both based on the #1 New York Times Bestsellers by
acclaimed author Dean Koontz.
Patricia served as Senior Vice President for Michael Ovitz�s
Artists Television Group, where he was head of the Television Movie
and Miniseries Department. He also headed up Peter Guber�s
Television Movie and Miniseries Department as President, Television
Pictures, Mandalay Entertainment. In addition, Patricia was Senior
Vice President for Citadel Entertainment, a joint venture between
HBO and UK Broadcaster ITEL, where he served as head of all
television development and production.

Elizabeth Stephen most recently served as president of Mandalay
Television, a division of Mandalay Entertainment Group, since 2007,
overseeing the creative development and production for the
division. She is the Executive Producer of the critically acclaimed
and Peabody Award Winning Showtime series �Brotherhood.� In the
first 18 months running the Mandalay division, Stephen packaged and
sold over 25 original shows to virtually all the broadcast
networks, basic cable and premium cable channels, including ABC,
CBS, Fox, F/X, TNT, USA, Showtime, HBO, AMC, A&E, Lifetime and
Spike. Stephen also developed and produced television movies such
as �Blood Crime� for USA starring James Caan and Johnathon Schaech
and �X Team� starring Bai Ling and Eric Mabius for ABC.
Stephen�s background includes Executive Vice President in Charge
of Feature Film Development and Production for The Avnet/Kerner
Company. While there, she co-produced the Walt Disney feature film
�The Mighty Ducks 3� and produced the 1999 ABC television movie �My
Last Love� starring Nancy Travis and Scott Bairstow. She
additionally served as the executive on Disney�s mega-hit �George
of the Jungle� starring Brendan Fraser.
Stephen began her career in the entertainment industry as a film
executive at Hollywood Pictures where she shepherded projects which
included the Rebecca DeMornay/Annabella Sciorra thriller �The Hand
That Rocks the Cradle� and the romantic comedy �Only You� starring
Academy Award� nominees Robert Downey Jr. and Marisa Tomei.
