Fleetwood RV to Be Featured on Upcoming Episode of John
Ratzenberger's Made in America Episode Airs Nationally in June on
the Travel Channel RIVERSIDE, Calif., June 3 /PRNewswire/ --
Fleetwood RV, a leading manufacturer of recreational vehicles, will
drive into the spotlight as a featured company in an upcoming
episode of the nationally syndicated show, John Ratzenberger's Made
in America, airing on the Travel Channel on Tuesday, June 7, 2005,
at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The episode will spotlight John Ratzenberger's
December 6, 2004, visit to Fleetwood's Riverside motor home
manufacturing plant and paint facility. Alongside his crew and
Fleetwood RV's Director of Product Planning Luc van Herle, John
Ratzenberger dedicated an entire day to touring and filming the
facility, primarily focusing on one of Fleetwood's flagship brands
-- the Pace Arrow. Ratzenberger is best known as the voice of
several characters from the Academy Award-winning Pixar films,
including Toy Story, Monsters, Inc. and The Incredibles, as well as
mailman Cliff Clavin on the TV comedy "Cheers." The Pace Arrow, a
high-end Class A gas motor home, was Fleetwood's first motor home
brand, which debuted in 1969. The Pace Arrow has evolved over the
years and now includes such innovations as full-body paint and even
a full-wall-slide floor plan. A true RVer, Ratzenberger purchased
his first motor home in the 1980s -- a Tioga, one of Fleetwood's
best-selling Class C motor homes. During his visit to the Riverside
manufacturing facility, Ratzenberger was given the honor of driving
a finished Pace Arrow motor home right off the assembly line. "It's
an honor to have Fleetwood's people and products showcased on John
Ratzenberger's Made in America," van Herle said. "John got right
alongside the workers to really learn how a Fleetwood motor home is
assembled. He showed a genuine interest in the entire manufacturing
process and seemed to really enjoy himself." "What impressed me the
most about Fleetwood is the quality of their manufacturing
process," said Ratzenberger. "From the initial assembly to the
final coat of paint, Fleetwood RV's attention to detail, style and
innovation is just what we expect from the American companies we
showcase on Made in America." About John Ratzenberger's Made in
