The new offerings were unveiled at the Company's annual Home Show in August at the Fleetwood factory in Auburndale. More than 250 participants were on hand to see how homeowners can customize and create their own unique living space specifically designed to fit the Florida lifestyle. The LifeStages Florida home is the first in a series of regionally developed homes that will be announced by Fleetwood in coming months. "Our Auburndale plant's new LifeStages home is the result of our local team researching the market, listening to customers, and then converting that feedback into the final product," said Charles Stapleton, eastern region vice president for Fleetwood. "The response at the show was great. It indicates that our customers will appreciate Fleetwood's new direction of developing regionally designed products." LifeStages features include: * Interior smooth ceilings, similar to those in site-built homes, as a standard feature. * Optional 8' interior ceilings, providing an alternative choice to standard vaulted ceilings. * Massive 4 1/4" optional crown and high-profile baseboard molding for a custom home appearance. * Two new appliance packages: "Chef" and "Gourmet." * Upgraded cabinet moldings featuring rope accents to dress up kitchens. * New interior paint color program. * Optional designer cornice-board window treatments. * Four new decors, which will accentuate any individual's Florida lifestyle. * Two new Lifestyle option packages, which bundle a grouping of features Florida consumers prefer in their new homes and provide them at a discounted price. * Upgraded double 7" Crane Board exterior siding, offering extra home insulation while also reducing exterior noise inside the home. * A new garage-ready option for on-site garage installation. * Standard feature of 36" true 6-panel interior doors, allowing every floor plan to feel open and spacious.
