RIVERSIDE, Calif., Sept. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Fleetwood Enterprises' RV Group, a leading producer of recreational vehicles, held its 2007 National Dealer Meeting at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, NV from Monday, August 27 - Wednesday, August 29, 2007. The event was attended by over 900 Fleetwood RV dealers, suppliers and associates. "The purpose of our National Dealer Meeting is to thank our dealers for their continued support, to award them for their individual sales and customer service accomplishments, and to show them our latest product innovations," said Paul Eskritt, President of Fleetwood's RV Group. "This year was particularly exciting because we had so many new products to introduce." The "Road to Success"-themed meeting was kicked off on Monday evening with a poolside welcome reception, but the core of the confab was delivered to attendees during Tuesday's general session where Eskritt, Travel Trailer Vice President Jim Croxton, Fleetwood Folding Trailer General Manager Allan Reeping, and Director of Marketing Amy Coleman spoke about Fleetwood's 2008 product plans and marketing initiatives. Fleetwood unveiled several new products and innovations during Fleetwood's dealer event. Highlights included: -- The debut of the restyled American Heritage, with an industry-first, triple-slide floor plan with 30" deep full-wall, galley and bedroom slides. -- The re-launch of the value-priced Terra and Fiesta Class A gas motor home brands, now featuring standard pass-through storage and mid-ship TV floor plans. -- The introduction of the brand-new Icon and Pulse diesel Class C motor homes, built on the popular Dodge(R) Sprinter chassis. -- The introduction of the brand-new Formula 5th wheel toy hauler, with garage floor plans and exciting new entertainment options like the Rock the Box! II customizable sound system. -- The re-launch of the Wilderness, Prowler and Terry brands, with all-new interior decor and exterior graphics, and more half-ton towable floor plan offerings. Other event highlights included keynote speaker, author Mike Abrashoff; Top Dealer Sales awards; and the 16th Annual Circle of Excellence award ceremony where Fleetwood Enterprises' President and CEO Elden Smith paid homage to Fleetwood's founder, John Crean, who passed away earlier this year. Following Smith's tribute, a memorial video reflecting on Crean's lifelong accomplishments was played for a visibly-moved audience, many of whom had known and admired Crean.
