(An item published 8:30 a.m. CT incorrectly stated the number of people killed in the Tesoro Corp. (TSO) blast. The correct version is as follows.)
The following table lists unplanned and planned production
outages at U.S. refineries as reported by Dow Jones Newswires. The
information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining
sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.
Investigators have begun looking into a fire that rocked Tesoro
Corp.'s (TSO) refinery in Anacortes, Wash., early Friday morning
killing five and critically two workers. The site of the fire was
isolated and the rest of the plant continues to operate at
one-third of the normal production rate, the company said.
