The International Securities Exchange (NYSE: ISE) today announced that both its options exchange and stock exchange set daily trading volume records on Thursday, August 16, 2007: 6,532,403 equity, index and FX options contracts traded on ISE�s options exchange, surpassing the previous record of 6,226,821 contracts set on July 27, 2007. ISE also reached a new volume record for index options of 243,572 contracts compared to the previous record of 212,447 contracts established on August 8, 2007.
