MGM Resorts International (MGM) division MGM Hospitality said Tuesday that it has signed an agreement to operate the company's first hotel in India, a 480 room, nongambling facility in New Delhi, the Las Vegas Sun reported.

The MGM Grand and Skylofts New Dehli will be part of a multi-hotel development in the Indian capital. MGM Hospitality will operate the hotel in partnership with Silver Resort Hotel India Pvt. Ltd.

The project is expected to break ground in March with an opening set for early 2014.

Las Vegas-based MGM Resorts formed MGM Mirage Hospitality in May 2007, now known as MGM Hospitality, to explore opportunities in international markets. It operates MGM Grand Macau in a 50-50 partnership with Pansy Ho.
