MGM Promotes Blake Flynn to Vice President, Business Affairs,
Worldwide TV Distribution LOS ANGELES, May 18

division of MGM Inc. , has promoted Blake Flynn to vice president,
business affairs, worldwide television distribution, announced Lisa
Klein Fitzpatrick, to whom Flynn reports. (Logo:

past few years, Blake has really developed as a business and legal
affairs executive, helping our business people conclude major
licensing agreements throughout the world," said Fitzpatrick, who
is senior vice president, business and legal affairs, worldwide
television distribution. "This promotion recognizes that growth and
his great work." Flynn oversees negotiations on MGM television
agreements with its many carriage partners overseas and with
domestic broadcast and basic cable networks, among other duties. He
most recently was senior counsel, business affairs, worldwide
television distribution. Flynn joined MGM in 1993 as a legal intern
in the entertainment business group. He subsequently became a
special projects attorney for MGM from 1995 to 1997, spent a year
as counsel handling film matters for the legal division, before
moving to worldwide television distribution in 1998. Flynn received
a juris doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in
1995. He graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in history
from Harvard University in 1992. While at Harvard, he played and
was an assistant coach for the school's rugby team. About MGM
