MGM Studios Names Diane Sabatini Senior Vice President of Physical Production LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MGM Studios, a unit of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. (NYSE:MGM), has named veteran production executive Diane Sabatini as senior vice president of physical production, announced Andy Davis, the unit's executive vice president of production. Sabatini has worked for the past decade as production supervisor or production coordinator on a dozen movies, with such film luminaries as Jerry Bruckheimer, Gale Anne Hurd, David Foster, Akiva Goldsman, Michael Bay, Jonathan Frakes, Doug Liman, Judd Apatow and Joel Schumacher. Her credits include such films as "Armageddon," "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," "Batman & Robin," "The Rock," "Gone in 60 Seconds" and "21 Grams." Sabatini received a bachelor's degree in communications from Portland State University in Oregon in 1989. She also studied at New York University and Dana Hall School in Wellesley, Mass.
