Product Highlights
Ply Gem Windows 4880 Patio Door – At the forefront
of transitional indoor-outdoor living spaces, the Ply Gem Windows
4880 thermally insulated patio door combines affordability with
enhanced thermal protection, impact performance and automation
technology, making it easy for architects, builders, remodelers and
homeowners to achieve expansive views and unrestricted access from
the indoors to outdoors. The patio door is available in two-,
three- and four-panel sliding and pocket configurations and
features thermally insulated construction along with
high-performance glazing packages. Sliding, multi-panel openings,
up to eight-feet high by 16-feet wide, enhance the transitional
living experience, while the pocket style recesses into the wall
for unrestricted access between indoors and outdoors. The patio
door is available in white and bronze to align with interior and
exterior design palettes.
New for 2017, the Ply Gem 4880 patio door is now available with
an automated operating system that allows users to control it from
anywhere – either with the included remote or with a smart phone.
Ideal for homes or light commercial structures in the southern and
southwestern United States, the
Ply Gem 4880 patio door also meets or exceeds the new Florida
Energy Code requirements and is available in impact-resistant glass
configurations to meet ASTM Windborne Debris requirements.
Ply Gem Windows Two-Tone Vinyl Colors – With the classic
styling of dark and light hues being incorporated into today's home
designs, Ply Gem Windows 1500 Brickmould Vinyl Collection two-tone
co-extruded exterior colors with neutral white interiors enhance
design flexibility for architects, builders and remodelers. Now
available in beige, clay, dark bronze — and soon black — this
window delivers stunning curb appeal with authentic exterior color
palettes. Unlike more expensive painted or foil-wrapped color
solutions, these low-maintenance exteriors are created by the
simultaneous co-extrusion of the two colors of compound through the
die forming a durable, high-performance product.
Ply Gem Steel Siding Collection – The Ply Gem Steel
Siding Collection – a new addition to Ply Gem's industry-leading
portfolio – offers one of the boldest palette of colors in its
category, including dark blues, greens, grays, blacks and reds. An
innovative coating and emboss woodgrain pattern deliver superior
texture and color retention, without the extra maintenance that
comes with painting or caulking year after year. Made from
galvanized steel and designed to stand up to harsh winter weather
conditions, Ply Gem's Steel Siding Collection is ideal for
residential or light commercial projects across North America. The premium product line is
also made of recycled material, is recyclable and is
fire-resistant.
Ply Gem Roofing Engineered Slate and Cedar – Ply Gem's
composite roofing products were developed to represent historic
slate and cedar shake roofing for residential and commercial
designs, without the worry of long-term performance, maintenance
and the premium price point. In creating the roofing product lines,
Ply Gem's research and development team spent years testing
composite formulations to develop a material that is
fire-resistant, impact-resistant, fade-resistant, lightweight, easy
to install and sustainable. In many critical performance categories
— durability, ease of installation, water management and cost of
ownership — Ply Gem Engineered Roofing outperforms wood and natural
slate.
Architectural Toolbox for Custom Virtual Home Designs –
The concept of mixed-use developments is on the rise, with
increased demand for walkable urban neighborhoods. As the need for
mixed-use infrastructure grows, Ply Gem Windows is enabling its
architect and builder customers to more accurately design
residential and light commercial projects through the introduction
of Revit® software for Building Information Modeling (BIM). This
complete collection of window models, built on the Autodesk
platform, is a free software toolkit created by architects, for
architects. Ply Gem's family of window models was designed in
partnership with a leading residential and commercial architect,
following qualitative research to discover what architects want
most from building product manufacturers in all phases of the
design, product and construction lifecycle.
Available for use with the Ply Gem Windows MIRA Wood Clad
Collection and 1500 Vinyl Collection, the software models include
critical features to make designing with windows faster and easier.
As part of Ply Gem's architectural toolbox, the company also offers
Revit models for Ply Gem Stone veneer, Ply Gem Roofing and Mastic
Home Exteriors by Ply Gem vinyl siding.
