As you may have heard, our parent company—Polypore—has signed definitive agreements for the sale of the company. In the merger agreement, Asahi Kasei Corporation will purchase the Company, and—as an integrated step in this transaction, immediately prior to Asahi Kasei’ acquisition of Polypore—3M will acquire the assets of Polypore Separations Media segment, which is our Membrana business. We believe this is a great strategic fit for the [Daramic, Celgard, Membrana] business and a positive development for the industry.
