LMP Real Estate Income Fund Inc., which is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “RIT,” announced today the results of the votes cast at the Fund’s annual meeting of shareholders held on April 25, 2014.

Daniel P. Cronin, Paolo M. Cucchi and Riordan Roett were elected as Class II Directors of the Fund by owners of its common stock to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2017 or thereafter when respective successors are duly elected and qualified or until they resign or are otherwise removed.

Kenneth D. Fuller was elected as a Class I Director of the Fund by owners of its common stock to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2016 or until his successor has been duly elected and qualified or until he resigns or is otherwise removed.
