Jeb Bush will step down from the board of forest-products and
real-estate company Rayonier Inc.
The company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange
Commission that the move is effective Dec. 31. Mr. Bush joined the
board in December 2008.
Last week, hospital operator Tenet Healthcare Corp. said Mr.
Bush would leave its board, also on Dec. 31.
Mr. Bush, the Republican former governor of Florida, announced
earlier this month that he plans to "actively explore" a
presidential campaign.
Mr. Bush is also a member of the boards of Empower Software
Solutions and CorMatrix Cardiovascular Inc. The Financial Times
recently reported that he was stepping down from his role as an
adviser to Barclays PLC.
