Triples Footprint from Prior Office to Bolster Presence in Silicon Valley

SendGrid, Inc. (NYSE: SEND), a leading digital communication platform that drives engagement and growth, today announced the opening of its new Silicon Valley office at 889 Winslow Street, Suite 400 in Redwood City, California. The new 15,000 square foot space nearly triples the footprint of the previous Redwood City office and can accommodate up to 80 employees. The open floor plan design space mirrors the look and feel of SendGrid’s global headquarters in Denver, and its recently announced new office in Irvine, California.

“Our new and expanded Redwood City office supports our ongoing efforts to attract world class talent from multiple talent pools beyond Denver, and particularly in regions where we have a strategic presence,” said Pattie Money, Chief People Officer at SendGrid. “Like all of our offices, the Redwood City space features connectivity tools and multiple open, collaborative workspaces intentionally designed to help foster our award-winning employee culture.”

Recruiting and retaining tech talent is a top priority for SendGrid. Silicon Valley provides a strategic presence for it to be more competitive and attract local talent in the tech community. The new building which also hosts the offices of Bessemer Venture Partners and McKinsey & Company, features abundant natural light and westernly mountain views.
