                           JUST CAR CLINICS BACK NEW

                               BODYSHOP KITE MARK

Leading accident repair network Just Car Clinics has today announced its backing
of a major new UK safety standard designed to protect motorists from
unscrupulous and badly equipped garages.

The company, which was last year named the 2nd Largest Accident Repair Network
in the UK, is supporting a new proposed BSI "Kite Mark" standard for crash
repairers. The new standard currently being written in conjunction with the
British Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre, Thatcham will underpin car body
repair safety criteria in the future.

Just Car Clinics has already offered their services to help guide the formation
of the new standard including use of their new #100,000 state of the art
Training Centre for conferences and events including a series of regional
briefings for other businesses to find out about the scheme and its benefits.

Just Car Clinics is a member of Repanet, a network of leading independent
accident repair bodyshops operating across Europe with 533 repairers in 12
European countries. It represents the finest independent crash repair centres in
terms of standards, technology and customer care serving both the retail and
fleet customer.

Just Car Clinic Chief Executive Barry Whittles said: "We are pleased to be
supporting a scheme which will help support and improve standards within the
Bodyshop industry. A Kitemark standard will tell drivers and their insurers that
we have the skills and equipment to carry out all repairs safely.

The new standard will also address growing environmental issues arising from the
use of paints needed to refinish damaged vehicles. Repanet members already lead
the way in the use of environmentally friendly Standox paint finishes that
already meet environmental legislation that will apply across Europe next year.

Speaking for Repanet, UK Mr Robert Hadfield said: "We believe the Thatcham Kite
Mark will introduce an overall standard of equipment, quality and safety
processes required by insurers and their policyholders. Repanet believes in
promoting higher standards within our industry, and our Repanet board was
unanimous in its support of what we believe will be a major new benchmark of
bodyshop performance."
