                                 Trading Update

Winter trading has continued strongly with levels of business in December,
January and February over seventy per cent ahead of the same period last year at
almost 300,000 car hire days. All sources of business have seen increased
levels of referral with the addition of a number of new key accounts. Growth in
sources of referrals continues.

The general level of interest in the contribution of accident management
services to the motor insurance market is now very high. There are only a small
number of larger suppliers of such services of which Helphire Group is the
largest. With the legal situation now clarified and the ABI protocol for claims
management continuing to develop and improve the market environment is very
supportive of growth in the industry.

The Group's plans for further infrastructure development to support this
increased level of business continue to progress well, as announced by the
acquisition of the new call centre facility on the 3 March which will complete
shortly. This provides an additional 60,000 square feet of accommodation and in
conjunction with the existing Beazer House call centre facility, gives a
capacity of at least 175,000 cases per annum. Contracts have been placed for
the telecommunications system required for the new facility and plans for
expansion and improvements to the IT systems are on course.

The Insureassist division continues to develop and now includes within its team,
the former business development director of Universal Salvage plc working in
insurer relations and two previous directors of Aon Accident Management
developing the groups fleet accident management product 'Total Accident
Management'.

E-register, the jewellery claims business acquired at the beginning of 2002 has
now completed the development of its claims handling system and is actively
marketing its services to the underwriters of household contents insurance which
are being well received. There is now in excess of #330 million worth of
jewellery on the database.

Cash collection continues to improve and exceeded #10 million in January/
February. A number of trials are taking place with insurers of automated
payment systems to further speed up the claims settlement process. It remains
the Board's intention to recommend a dividend on announcement of the annual
results in June 2003.
