Baltia Has Acquired Facilities at JFK's International Air Terminal NEW YORK, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Baltia Air Lines has moved to JFK and is setting up its base of operations at the International Air Terminal (IAT), also known as Terminal 4. IAT is a new terminal with state-of-the-art facilities. In addition to having its headquarters at JFK, the terminal will provide to the new airline a host of station facilities, including luggage handling, check-in positions, passenger gates, and first and business class accommodations for "Club Baltia" passengers. The terminal has capacity to accommodate Baltia's flight schedule as it expands. Baltia's personnel will manage all ticketing/check-in operations at the terminal. Baltia is a US startup airline proposing to operate in a niche market, flying nonstop from New York's JFK Airport to St Petersburg and to other cities within Russia and the Baltic region. Baltia's marketing staff has experience in this large, untapped market, and the operations staff had years of major air carrier experience.
