DWS Defense Systems Announces New Appointment to Advisory Board
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Nov. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DWS Defense
Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of DataWorld Solutions,
Inc. (PinkSheets: DWLD) is proud to announce that Scott L. Vining
has joined the Company's advisory board. Mr. Vining was recently
the treasurer and chief accounting officer of Armor Holdings, Inc.,
a leading manufacturer of security products for law enforcement
personnel around the world, and joins Former New York City Police
Commissioner Bernard Kerik as members of the Company's advisory
board. In his position as advisor, Mr. Vining will provide guidance
on strategic alliances, acquisitions and other corporate
development opportunities. "We are proud and honored to have Mr.
Vining join the DWS family. We believe his successful tenure at
Armor Holdings during periods of rapid growth will be an asset to
the Company as it emerges in the security arena," says CEO Daniel
McPhee. "I feel very fortunate to be joining the advisory board at
this early stage of the Company's development," said Mr. Vining. "I
look forward to working closely with Mr. McPhee, Mr. Kerik and the
senior management team leveraging my industry experience and
contacts to capitalize on future growth opportunities," he added.
DWS Defense Systems was created in response to the growing security
concerns expressed by the clients of DataWorld. In reaction to acts
of domestic and international terrorism, businesses are searching
for better ways to protect their buildings, and more importantly,
to better protect the people who work in or visit these locations.
DWS will offer one such solution -- high quality, state of the art
security glass and the associated security system -- that will have
numerous potential applications. Glass currently used in many
buildings may potentially cause significant injury if shattered.
The DWS solution can minimize this problem and provide greater
security to the building's occupants. The in-house architect and
engineering team at DWS, who have over 80 years of combined
experience in the security and defense field, will be able to
assess and customize a turnkey security solution for any type or
size of business. DWS Defense Systems and its highly skilled team
will design, develop, install and market specialty products and
equipment for the security needs of domestic and international
businesses. The company is already in negotiations with a number of
Fortune 1000 companies to provide security solutions that will be
tailor made to suit each company's particular needs. About
