Town & Country Bancorp, Inc. Announces First Quarter Earnings SPRINGFIELD, Ill., April 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Town & Country Bancorp, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: TCBS) announced earnings for the first quarter of 2004 of $575 thousand. On a per share basis, earnings were $0.46 for the quarter. Total assets at quarter end were $357.7 million, an increase of over 11% from a year ago. Total deposits were over $275 million, an increase of over 13% over the last year. Also, total loans grew to almost $216 million, representing growth of almost 11% in the last year. The Board of Directors declared a $0.08 per share quarterly cash dividend payable on June 15, 2004 to stockholders of record June 1, 2004. This represents a 14% increase in the dividend rate over the same quarter last year. On a year to date basis, the Company has declared a dividend of $0.16 per share, which represents an increase of almost 25% over the prior year.
