AM Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AMG)(FRANKFURT:AMX) ("AM Gold" or the "Company")
announces that the Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Jeffrey
Reeder as a Director. AM Gold has elected not to fill the vacancy on the Board
of Directors at this time.


The Board would like to thank Mr. Reeder for his service to the Company.
