Advanced Primary Minerals Corporation (the "Corporation" or "APM") (TSX
VENTURE:APD) announced that effective December 18, 2009 it entered into an
agreement (the "Agreement") with C&C Mining and Land Company ("C&C") whereby in
consideration of US$40,000 and 1,400,000 pre-consolidation shares of the
Corporation (200,000 post-consolidation shares of the Corporation), the
Corporation (formerly Beta Minerals Inc.) will be released from all of its
obligations in connection with a purchase option and exploration right agreement
(the "Original Agreement") entered into on August 26, 2003 between Beta Minerals
Inc. and C&C, including its obligation to maintain in good standing the claims
governed by the Original Agreement. The Original Agreement related to certain
mineral claims covering property located in the Delamar Mining District of
Southeast Nevada, USA. The Agreement is expected to close on January 15, 2010.
